1. Select Plug-In (for other applications) from the dropdown list. Click Next.

2. Click OK.

3. Click Browse.

4. Specify the "plug-in folder" of your graphic application. The "plug-in folder" varies depending on the graphic application and its version. Popular graphic applications' plug-in folders are shown below. For the plug-in folder of graphic applications not shown below, please refer to its users guide or ask its developer.

Once you specify the folder, the installation program automatically create a subfolder named "vp5e". So, if you specify the plug-in folder of Corel Painter IX (IX.5), Virtual Painter 5 Plug-In version will be installed into
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter IX\Plugins\vp5e\.

Click OK and continue installation and proceed to step 5.

6. Click Next. The program will start copying the necessary files.

7. Click Finish.

How to run Virtual Painter5 varies depending on the graphic application. Please refer to your graphic application's users guide for how to run plug-in softwares. In the case of Corel Painter IX (IX.5), run Corel Painter IX (IX.5), open any 24-bit full color image and select Effects > Virtual Painter > VP5.
