Before starting the installation program, you need to create a plug-in folder manually.

1) Open the following folder.

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Languages

2) If you installed English (US/Canada) version of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, open EN folder.

If you installed other language version, please open the following folder.

• English (International) - IE folder
• Deutsch - DE folder
• Espanol - ES folder
• Francais - FR folder
• Italiano - IT folder
• Nederlands - NL folder

3) Select File > New > Folder to create a folder named "PlugIns". Now you are ready to install. If you already have "PlugIns" folder, you don't have to create it.

 

1. Run .exe file to start installation program. Click Next.

2. Click Agree.

3. Copy and paste your registration code. Click Next.

4. Select Plug-in (for other applications) from the dropdown list. Click Next.

5. Click OK.

6. Click Browse.

7. Specify the plug-in folder of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. The default plug-in folder of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 English (US/Canada) version is below. Click OK.

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Languages\EN\PlugIns.

If you use other language versions of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, please specify their respective plug-in folders.

8. Click Next.

9. Click Next. The program will start copying the necessary files.

10. Click Finish.

In order to run Virtual Painter5, please run your Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, open any 24-bit full color image and select Effects > Plugins > Virtual Painter > VP5.
